Get Ready for the 2017 Solar Eclipse

Did you know that it has been almost a 100 years since a total solar eclipse has been visible in the United States from coast-to-coast? Find out more about this extraordinary event at the Ray D. Prueter Library on Wednesday, August 16 at 2:00 pm.
Through informational videos, you’ll learn how a solar eclipse occurs and how to view it safely. Adults will have an opportunity to enter a drawing for eclipse glasses to safely view the partial eclipse that will be visible in Southern California. We’ll also provide materials and instructions to make your own pinhole projector. This event is suitable for ages 8 through adult.
