Hueneme Beach Park

Hueneme Beach Park is the pride of Port Hueneme. This 50-acre park offers:

  • Numerous picnic tables and barbecue pits
  • Walking paths between the flag plazas, gazebo, and lighthouse
  • The stately Alaska Air Flight 261 memorial sundial
  • A 24-hour fishing pier
  • Sand volleyball courts
  • Surfside Seafood snack bar
  • Lifeguard protection and a Junior Lifeguard Program in the summer.
  • PLEASE NOTE: For the health and safety of both humans and dogs, NO DOGS ARE ALLOWED on the beach.

Point Hueneme Lighthouse & Lighthouse Promenade Walkway

The Point Hueneme Lighthouse is owned by the U.S. Coast Guard and was constructed in 1941. The lighthouse is open for tours the third Saturday of the month from February through October from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. (last tour is at 2:30 p.m.). Admission is free.

The lighthouse promenade walkway extends the beach pedestrian walkway from Surfside Drive out to the harbor entry and Lighthouse.

Hueneme Beach Sunset Supper

This free event for the whole family is held the second Tuesday of the month April through October from 5:oo pm to 8:30 pm and includes:

  • Food Trucks
  • Beautiful Sunsets
  • Happy Hour
  • Live Music by After Hours 6pm – 8:30pm
  • Free Parking in Lot A

Golf

NBVC Seabee Golf Course at Port Hueneme

The challenging, 18 hole NBVC Seabee Golf Course at Port Hueneme features a lighted driving range, practice putting green, five water hazards and a complete Pro Shop. The new Clubhouse provides a casual place to relax for golfers and non-golfers. There is an indoor and patio dining and a lounge. Golfers can enjoy the men’s and women’s locker rooms and the meeting rooms. Enjoy shopping from our wide selection of golfing equipment and apparel for both men and women in the pro shop. Golf clubs and cart rental, club storage, lessons and punch cards are also available. A soft spike only facility. The NBVC Seabee Golf Course is open to the public. River Ridge Golf Club

The River Ridge Golf Club in the nearby City of Oxnard offers 36 challenging holes, two courses, and four sets of tees ranging from 5,362 to 6,777 yards. More than eight acres of water features makes these championship public courses superbly beautiful. The Scottish links-style Vineyard Course is famous for its bent grass and Poa Annua greens. Amenities include an all-grass driving range, two chipping and putting greens, a well-appointed pro shop, cafe, outdoor barbecue area and a banquet facility.
